The need to depalletize bags or boxes originates from the necessity of bulk cargos, to send individual packages to the next plant (e.g. product mixing) or to realise mixed pallets using the “picking”, system; therefore picking up packages from the various pallets to make up a new pallet with a mixture of products on the basis of an assigned program.
To meet this type of request, MF TECNO makes two types of plant available to its customers:
Linear Cartesian depalletization, based on one or more telescopic robot arms running along a “gantry” structure, which can pick-up packages from several pallets positioned longitudinally.
Circular depalletization, based on an anthropomorphic robot positioned at the centre of a work island, able to make use of the flexibility, typical of this type of robot, to pick-up packages from various pallets of products positioned around the vertical axis of the same.
In both cases, the gripping element can position the package picked-up on a new pallet being formed or on a relevant evacuation conveyor.
The choice of solution depends on various factors; first is the layout requested by the customer, the number of pallets to depalletize and the production capacity required.
The combination with the “peripherals” realised directly by MF TECNO, make it the ideal tool for the realisation of any type of layer. The simplified, user-friendly management software also allows less expert operators to quickly change the work program and even modify the palletization layout to adapt it to various requirements.
