Joint Controllership
Pursuant to the ruling of the Court of Justice of the EU (Case C-210/16, Wirtschaftsakademie) and the subsequent guidelines of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), where Massini Industries uses tools made available by social platforms (such as company Pages, statistical Insights, or Audiences features), joint controllership of the processing with the platform operator may be established.
In such cases, primary responsibility for GDPR compliance with respect to technical infrastructure remains with the platform operator, while Massini Industries is responsible for the content published and any advertising campaigns activated.
LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company)
Massini Industries uses LinkedIn for institutional communications, employer branding, publication of company content, and personnel recruitment. Data processed includes user interactions with the page (likes, comments, shares), aggregated analytics data provided by LinkedIn (Page Insights), and, in the case of paid campaigns, targeting data provided by the platform.
The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for institutional communications activities, and consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for targeted advertising campaigns.

Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited)
Massini Industries manages company pages on Facebook and Instagram for the promotion of its products and services, the publication of content, and the management of relationships with the online community.
As page administrator (Page Admin), Massini Industries is a joint controller with Meta pursuant to CJEU Decision C-210/16, with respect to user statistical data (Insights).
The legal basis for organic activities is legitimate interest; for advertising campaigns, the consent expressed by the user through the Meta platform settings.

WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited)
Massini Industries uses WhatsApp for managing commercial communications and customer support. Data processed via WhatsApp includes: phone number, contact name, content of messages exchanged, and communication metadata.
The legal basis is the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for communications related to pre-contractual or contractual requests, and consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for the sending of marketing communications via WhatsApp.

Data Recipients
