MF 54 vertical packaging machine

The MF 54 vertical packaging machine is a reliable, high-performance solution for medium-format packaging.

With an excellent value for the price, it delivers high production rates of up to 1,200 bags per hour for formats from 11 to 44 lbs.

The bags, pillow-type or gusseted, are extremely compact and squared in shape, with a maximum size of 18.5 × 26.8 in.

An MF 54 Doypack version is also available, producing stand-up pouches with or without a resealable zipper — a modern, versatile, and visually appealing packaging solution for the pet food, food, and non-food sectors.

Starting from a roll of flat film, the bag is formed around the forming tube and then heat-sealed vertically and horizontally, producing an airtight, three-seal package.

A pair of servo-driven rubber belts, fitted with a self-centering device, pull the film downward to the desired bag length, while the dosing unit simultaneously discharges the selected amount of product into the bag.
