The MF 58 vertical packaging machine is the ideal solution for anyone looking for a reliable machine for medium-high productions and medium-large formats.
This machine is a particularly popular and well-regarded model across numerous industry sectors for processing a wide variety of products, the most common of which include potting soil, compost, sand, aggregates, plastic granules, seeds, feed, pet food and pellets.
Output and Bag Types
Starting from a reel of flat film, the machine pulls the film down by means of a pair of rubberised tracks driven by a servo-motor, keeping it under constant tension as it passes through the forming tube, which shapes it to the desired size and allows the product to be filled in.
The sealing bars, positioned at the end of the machine, seal the bag by means of impulse sealing, ensuring a perfect closure without damaging the material, and separate each bag from the next.
With this technology, the MF 58 achieves impressive output, reaching 1,200 bags/hour for formats ranging from 5 to 30 kg. The finished bags can reach a maximum size of 580x980 mm (minimum 330x400 mm).
The machine is designed to handle different bag types:
- Pillow bag
- Gusseted bag
- Four-seal bag
Thanks to its flexibility, the MF 58 works with a wide range of packaging materials, including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and laminates, making it suitable for numerous application sectors.

A typical and highly efficient combination involves installing it upstream of a PCA SMART palletiser, a Cartesian palletiser with medium output, and a WRAP 35 pallet wrapper.
