Complete sugar processing plants

The abrasive and hygroscopic nature of sugar requires the use of AISI 304 and 316 stainless steel.

Our machinery is specifically designed for granular products, ensuring a perfect balance between precision, versatility and speed. We can handle various types of sugar, such as white, cane or raw sugar, for the retail sector, large-scale retail or wholesale distributors.

Our extensive range of machinery allows us to offer numerous solutions and process both small and large formats.

• Small Formats: We manage the entire packaging process for formats up to 2 kg with both primary packaging and end-of-line solutions. From multi-head weighers and specific models of vertical form-fill-seal machines to shrink wrappers, cartoning machines and palletisers.
• Large Formats: Solutions ranging from electronic weighers to open-mouth bagging machines and Cartesian palletisers for formats up to 50 kg.

Primary Packaging for Sugar

MF TECNO stands out for its ability to handle the entire range of formats, from 1 kg packets to 50 kg bags. Capable of processing square-bottom, double square-bottom and pillow-shaped packs.

The choice of technology depends on specific design requirements.

Small-format sugar packaging

Among the various models of vertical packaging machines, there are some that are particularly suited to this sector.

In particular, the MF 52 and the SBS 2000.

The MF 52 Vertical Packaging Machine is made entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel.

Its compact design and touch-screen panel make it easy for the operator to use and allow it to be integrated into spaces where space is limited.

The SBS 2000, on the other hand, is specifically designed for producing square double-bottom bags at a rate of up to 2,000 bags per hour. It ensures rapid format changeovers, optimising overall productivity and consequently reducing downtime.

The modular system and stepper motion, powered by brushless motors, ensure stability throughout the entire process.

Medium and Large Format Sugar Packaging

For medium to large formats, our bagging machines handle pre-formed bags, ensuring a perfect seal.

Among the various models available for packaging medium to large pillow or gusseted bags is the IABA 1000.

This model achieves a production capacity of 1,100 bags per hour. The monoblock stainless steel structure ensures durability and reliability, whilst the modular design allows for integration into existing production lines.

Secondary and End-of-Line Packaging 

Alongside the bagging stage, we design numerous solutions for secondary and end-of-line packaging.  Relying on a single supplier for the entire line offers a huge advantage in terms of customisation, reduced liability issues and plant scalability.

End-of-line automation involves both the development and design of bundling and boxing machines and palletising and wrapping solutions.

Bundling Machines and Cartoners

We protect your bags by grouping them into bundles or placing them into boxes using our MF CUBE carton box machine, designed for American-style boxes. This ensures the creation of extremely compact boxes and bundles, ready for palletising.

Automatic Palletising

There are various models of Cartesian palletisers suitable for handling granular products.

These solutions are capable of loading pallets with cartons and bundles, as well as square-bottomed or pillow-top packs. Among the Cartesian models are the PCA SMART for medium-volume production and the 6-Column Palletiser for high-volume production.
